Though it makes me very grumpy.
And I’m angry that you didn’t see Grindhouse in theaters and help pump up its box office so that we might get another one or possibly get a DVD release of both films together.
I thought Grindhouse was perfect as it was and it was absolutely necessary that you see Death Proof as part of it in the movie theater after Planet Terror. On DVD, by itself and particularly with the additional footage, it would seem overly self-indulgent. As part of Grindhouse, the film captures the delicate charm of a second billed feature.
But practically, if you’re working on any of these lists you should try and limit yourself to the version available on DVD.
In my opinion, as I saw Grindhouse in the theater I should get credit for seeing Death Proof and Planet Terror, even without the additional footage. And if you see Death Proof and Planet Terror on DVD, you should get credit for seeing Grindhouse, even though you did not see the fake theaterical trailers.

“Grindhouse” has been split and released on DVD. Therefore, I have removed the “Grindhouse” entry and replaced it with “Death Proof”.

If you haven’t seen it, it’s on the mighty youtube. Not sure for how long, so check it out. Also in my blog on myspace/bluebuddhalou.
Again, don’t know how long it’ll stay there. One other thing…does anyone have any thoughts on breaking up the grindhouse entry into two since this is the was it’s going to be released on video. As I missed it in the theatres, this is how I’ll be seeing it and am tempted to split it. Let me know if you object.

What about the films he’s produced, then you could add winners like Hostel and Hostel 2. I can’t believe he let his name be put on that.
I added From Dusk Til Dawn because it ws written by Tarantino and Sin City because he directed a scene from it. I know that some people like to keep directors’ lists limited to films directed as opposed to just written by the director, but if we did that with Tarantino this list would only be 4 films long.
if you like this list check out my “Presented By Quentin Tarantino/Rolling Thunder Pictures” list for films that he promoted or released with his Rolling Thunder Pictures company.
