Something old; something new; something borrowed; something blue. In order to fulfill the requirements of this list to my satisfaction I had to use movies that I have watched from the time I was in diapers to ones and saw as recently as two weeks ago. The result is the most eclectic group of films I have presented you. Like the lists before it, it contains representatives from as many genres as possible from each decade from the silent to the modern era, which as I have expressed was no easy feat. Unlike the lists before it, it is far more balanced in terms of older and newer films, and includes no less than five foreign language films, none of which are Italian. I don’t make this list with the intention of torturing you. On the contrary, some of the films I have been bursting to tell you about but have held back for the express purpose of unveiling them here. As requested I have given you the full bullet point list as well as a list with just the titles, but do bear in mind that this is me we are talking about. My justifications are sufficiently vague, and will likely be better understood when you see the films anyway. I hope you enjoy them, but I certainly will understand if you never ask me to make you another. Here goes nothing:
