midnight_funeral's "High School Books to Re-Read"

Add to my lists | Print this list

I decided to re-read the required reading from my high school, for a number of reasons.1) Time – it’s been 7 to 10 years since I read these; 2) Standards – a few of these I skipped or skimmed chapters to keep up with the class, and now I only count books if I’ve read them completely; 3) Tastes – Being older, better educated, and having read so much more literature, my response to material is completely different now.

Having read the majority of these again, I highly recommend others to make and complete similar lists of what they read in high school. It’s a completely different experience reading these classics again. I’ll probably pick my favorites of these and read them again in another ten years.
