RIAA's "Grammy Award Winners for Best R&B Album"The Grammy Award for Best R&B Album has been awarded by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) since 1995. Since 2003, a Grammy has also been awarded for Best Contemporary R&B album, which seems to have been developed to award those albums with more of a hip-hop influence and for the best Urban/Alternative Album (which I’d be hard-pressed to explain how it is arrived at).
