I Love Pop Culture - 2000's Movies

I wanted to expand on this theme from Kalavinka (http://www.listsofbests.com/person/kalavinka). But basically the point of this list is:

"I Love Pop Culture theme: a list of movies that were widely viewed, praised, awarded, and so forth. In short, if you lived in the period then you watched these movies. (There is a bias towards movies in English.)"
