Is this list ranked? Are Dawn of the Dead and The Wicker Man really considered better films than The Godfather, Days of Heaven, Annie Hall, Amarcord, The Deer Hunter, The Conformist, Barry Lyndon, Taxi Driver, and The Spirit of the Beehive? Such is the dumbed-down legacy of our postmodern era when schlocky cult films are privileged over legitimately great art.
