May 30 books — 3 years ago

9 for the Dr. Boxall’s list (and I’m up to 20% done woohoo!), plus a lot of Hard Case Crimes and Fear Streets for fun. My major accomplishment for the month was finishing Crime and Punishment and The Hunchback of Notre Dame, they’ve been on my to-do list for years but I’ve been intimidated by their length. I love netlibrary.com because there’s so many novels that I can download and listen to at work.

April 18 books — 4 years ago

51-68

6 for Dr. Boxall’s 1001 Books list (2006 version). I can’t seem to reach the 20% mark on that list, although I did finish Moby Dick! I also started on a list of Kurt Vonnegut’s books so there’s quite a bit of him for April.

January/February/March — 4 years ago

Books 1-50, 26 of them for Dr. Boxall’s 1001 Books list. My favorite of the bunch was definitely the zombie anthology The Living Dead, I highly recommend it to all zombie/horror fans. I also especially enjoyed The War of the Worlds, House of Mirth, The Glass Key, and The Green Man.
