IMDb's "Movies with 100,000 votes"

Add to my lists | Print this list

These are all the films (as of Mar 16, 2012) with more than 100,000 votes on IMDb. The reason for making this list is simply that one often hears "Why, everyone has seen that film!" only to discover it has 1,500 votes. If a film appears on this list then it definitely ranks among those films "everyone" has seen.

As of right now there are 437 films on the list.

I just went through and updated the list. They are now alphabetized the way that IMDB has them alphabetized. I’m sure that now that 58 new titles have been added, may of you will be dropped in your percentage. My apologies, but people keep voting :)

IMDB Top 250 — 1 year ago

Has the Top 250 list disappeared for anyone else? It seems like it’s been deleted, as far as I can tell.

Stuck at 99% — 2 years ago

Is anyone else done with this list but stuck at 99%? I’m not sure what entry listofbests is confused on but I can’t get this off the top of my lists in progress.

Deleted duplicate — 2 years ago

There were 2 versions of “The Da Vinci Code” on the list. The deletion brought the list down to 150 titles.

On IMDb:

Search – power search – Minimum number of voters: – type “100000” and then Search.

Could you post a link to the list source? I can’t find it on imdb.

Nice list Stefan. 81% for me. I’m looking forward to the day you increase the list to all the films with 10.000 votes or more ;)
