ambergamgee's "Books Read in 2009"

Books that I’ve completed in 2009. My goal is 40.
So far my favorites are:
-The Man Who Walked Through Time
-Life of Pi – except that when I realized halfway through that it was NOT based on a true story…that broke my heart. Even though it says "a novel" on the cover, I’m an idiot and spent half the book thinking it was non-fiction. And the end was disappointing.
-American Psycho – even though I marked it as "not worth consuming" I have never read a book or watched a movie that affected me more. I went to film school because of my love of horror and….I can’t begin to describe the nightmares that book gave me. I didn’t read anything for awhile. Seeing the movie in NO WAY prepares you for those vivid descriptions
-Into the Wild
