Add to my lists | Print this list

Here it is, for your viewing pleasure. The starting list (of over 7900 films), from which They Shoot Pictures, Don’t They? select annually the 1000 Greatest Films. The list itself is created from various film critics and filmmakers’ "best-films-of-all-time" lists/ballots, as well as annual film magazine polls.

To make it more easier to shift through, this list will be organized chronologically, then alphabetically by title, and finally catagorized by decade (in nine parts).

Total of 876 Films — 2 years ago

Note: For the few times I used double feature icons, its always the first title that is supposed to be on the list. The exception is The Curse of the Demon/Night of the Demon listing, which in this case, its the same film, just different cuts. However, the “Night” version is the one supposed to be listed.
