Jettababs's "My Favorite TV Series (on DVD)"
Nowhere near an authoritative list since there are many shows I simply have never seen. Naturally there is a big skew toward more modern TV series, but older shows I have seen and love make the cut as well. I also include mini-series in this list since there are too many good things left behind if they are neglected. These are in a rough order from the most favorite at the very top.
