Erma Bombeck. The Queen of Surburbia Humor. If you haven’t met her, just read one of these books and wish she was your best friend (or your best friend’s mom). No one has been able to fill her shoes since she lost her battle with cancer.
As a little girl, I became very ill. My mother was sitting by my hospital bed, laughing as she read "The Grass is Always Greener Over the Septic Tank". I asked her to read out loud. I laughed to tears. I was hooked. Hope you give her a chance, too.
