The Travelers' Century Club's "Directory of Countries"
The Travelers’ Century Club’s official list includes 315 countries as of January 2005. If you’ve visited 100 or more (no matter how briefly), you’re entitled to join the <a href="http://www.travelerscenturyclub.org/">club</a>. Note: not all of the "countries" are sovereign nations in their own right, but have been included according to <a href="http://www.travelerscenturyclub.org/country_status.html">criteria</a> including geographical, political or ethnological distinction from their parents. For the same reason, they don’t correspond exactly with the 43Places hierarchy.
The places are ordered by region and, within the regions, alphabetically. You can find places as follows:
Pacific Ocean: page 1 (1.-40.)
North America: page 1 (41.-46.)
Central America: page 1 (47.) – page 2 (53.)
South America: page 2 (54.-66.)
Carribean: page 2 (67.-93.)
Atlantic Ocean: page 2 (94.) – page 3 (106.)
Europe & Mediterranean: page 3 (107.) – page 4 (173.)
Antarctica: page 4 (174.-180.)
Africa: page 4 (181.) – page 5 (232.)
Middle East: page 5 (233.) – page 6 (252.)
Indian Ocean: page 6 (253.-266.)
Asia: page 6 (267.) – page 7 (316. – as 281. for some reason doesn’t exist)
In some cases, the order doesn’t appear alphabetically, because the places have different names on 43places, or are only represented by one part of the TCC region.
Please do not change this list in a way that makes it different from the original list (see below)!
