The Chronicle's "Western 100"
Polling began July 29 for The Chronicle Western 100, our list of the best 20th century fiction written in or about — or by an author from — the Western United States. Since then balloting has been declared officially over at least twice, each time followed by still more reader nominations just too shrewd to exclude.
