Esta é uma lista de filmes absolutamente idiossincrática. Quero deixar claro que uma lista de filmes favoritos se baseia na subjetividade – nas razões que a própria razão desconhece.

Estão presentes aqui alguns sucessos dos grandes estúdios hollywoodianos. Muitos são filmes de entretenimento puro, e refletem o escapismo de uma época; Mas há também filmes ousados, perturbadores, geniais. E, claro, as assinaturas de peso: Fellini, Truffaut, Godard, Bergman, Antonioni, Wenders, Herzog, etc.

Os gêneros estão misturados: há comédias, dramas, documentários, musicais, policiais noir, animações, suspense etc. Muitos talvez discordem das escolhas ou reclamem de eventuais omissões. Não faz mal. Prometo ampliar a lista à medida que for assistindo a outros grandes filmes.
