Untitled — 1 year ago

Fell short of my goal, but still the most productive year of reading to date.

Halfway — 1 year ago

Today is June 30th, so I was supposed to be done with my 25th book today. I wasn’t getting very far with the two I was reading, so I picked up “And Then There Were None” at B&N this morning and sat down for four hours until I had finished it. A tight scrape, but 25 it is, and not a minute too soon.

May — 2 years ago

The end of the semester, and I officially read EVERY book that was assigned for my English classes—all 17, including the monstrous Bleak House. Getting started on Paula now so I can keep up with my goal!

April — 2 years ago

I am halfway through April, and just finished my twentieth book. I’ve officially read more, already, than I did in all of last year. I am actually right on track to read fifty books this year! If I can get five more finished by June, I’ll be halfway there. I’m going to try it while I’ve got momentum—I may never be this close again.

Douglass, Oronooko — 2 years ago

Re-read Douglass for my American Memoir class, Feb 2. Will be finishing Oronooko for Dr. Scherwatsky in about a week, just putting this up in advance!

Blazing World — 2 years ago

Blazing World completed for an English class on Jan. 26th.

Off to a good start! — 2 years ago

It’s only January 14th, and I’ve just added my fourth completed novel to the list. Granted, the Sherlock Holmes novels were short, but still a great start! School starts on Tuesday, and I’ve had to purchase about 15 novels, so I will certainly beat last year’s list this year, and probably by June. Last year, it wasn’t until March or April that I had finished four novels, and two of those were for a class. Feels great to be on a roll!
