#21 small clients — 5 years ago

[a] I got an offer to do a small project in brookly with a private, catholic high school that I’m really excited about. Probably only $3k or so, but I think it’ll be fun.

[b] I got the greenlight to coach an AA male through the B-school app. process. Again, not alot of money but small, fun projects is what i wanted.

© Bell Curves is on hold for now as they complete a move into new offices.

[d] TSB project is on hiatus until their team returns from vacation.

[e] Got a potential lead from a former client, hoping her contact follows up and gives me a shout-could be fun. Its a neat organization.

[f] Current Projects:

1. MLT: Ongoing: 12 hrs/week

2. LEAD: Complete: 8-3-06

3. Davidson: Initiating 5-10 hrs/week

So I am trying to stay positive and juggle multiple things and hoping for the best!

#8: Still Cooking (with Class) — 5 years ago

Had a cooking class in Richmond on Friday. The food and the company were great! We made meatloaf, london broil, white gazpacho, a pruscutto/brie pasta dish and grilled peaches. The other 3 classes I had signed up for were cancelled due to low enrollment, but I’ll see if I can take another one before the summer is out.

#10: Spoil my parents and nephew — 5 years ago

I bought my parents new dvd players for the other rooms in the house so that my nephew doesn’t commandeer the one in their bedroom since he’s out of school for the summer.

Father’s day gift for Dad and new Crocs shoes for mom. Bouncy balls and new book for the nephew, plus i’m putting him into summer camp when he stays with me for a week.

status: small steps [6-11-06] — 5 years ago

i’m making progress on most of my goals. need to be patient, and not get caught up trying to do everything all the time at the same time which is my downfall.

1. i bought new exercise bras, shoes and knee strap. i am doing well with the vitamins and water, need to be drinking more water but definitely not drinking as much soda at all.

2. Got my hair done and i really like the style and no chemicals! it was a little pricey at $55 and 2 hours in the salon, but i like the outcome. i’m also feeling more “girly” in terms of wanting new mac make-up and lip gloss ?? who me?

3. Talked to Chris about setting a schedule to work on the front porch at 504. I need to re-do an addendum to one of the leases.

4.signed up for cooking classes (4) and one has already been dropped so we shall see. Signed up for the BRC motorcycle course starting July 11th. I’m soooo excited. I also checked into a gun range class. They have one in Hampton on Thursdays at 6pm so I don’t know if I can find a class in Charlottesville or if I’ll just wait until I’m done with LEAD.

5. Bought Mary J. Blige Tix, and have a lead on discounted Sarah Jones Tix! Yay!

6. Need to: practice juggling, workout, play golf, review shakespear stuff.
