Some Additions — 2 years ago

I added 50 or so of them, but what with them shutting down 43 people for efficiency reasons, I didn’t feel like burdening them with more placeholder entries.

There isn’t really a perfect source(I wish I knew how to actually make the link the list source, think you might have to do that when first making the list) for this but all the ones I found including another list site contain all the same items.

Three of them; Dane Cook, Nick Swardson and Zach Galifianakis aren’t on the “offficial” list, but I’m a generator not a destructor. So I’ll leave the meanness of removing someone’s accession to someone else.

@loaia He’s #33 actually. That’s not too bad is it?

@Aginald well, Comedy Central is American. Why don’t those countries get their own “humor hub” and neglect us? I’d be very happy for them all (not just the ones you mentioned).

What? — 4 years ago

You mean to tell me that Andy Kaufman is not at least top 5? No way!!

come on... — 5 years ago

wow what a great list of comedians.

hard to believe that Americans are so funny that they make up more than 95% of the worlds greatest comedians.

but if this list says it… it must be true.

forget the great English, Irish and Australian comedians of the past 20 years. They must obviously not make the cut.

Checkmark means I know their stuff... — 6 years ago

Not that I’ve necessarily “met” them…
