GLAAD Media Awards Best Film
The Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) is dedicated to promoting and ensuring fair, accurate and inclusive representation of individuals and events in all media as a means of eliminating homophobia and discrimination based on gender identity and sexual orientation.
GLAAD gives 3 film awards most years – wide release, independent film/limited release, and documentary. The wide and limited release films are listed below. Records for 1990 and 1993 have proven somewhat unattainable. (Please fill the blanks if you have them). In 2009, two films tied for best limited release.
