IMDb's "Modern Top 250 (updated 11/21/2013)"
People often complain that the imdb top 250 is not weighted correctly. The novelty of being a new film pushed current releases too high, and after a year they settle in. People also want a list with older films removed. (If you still love old movies check out the imdb Classic 250). The weights are changed because the average for a modern film is actually lower [6.4] than across the whole spectrum of film [7.0]. Documentaries are excluded from the top 250 for no know reason, and the limit of 25,000 keeps out good indie films.

Removed "Fake Votes" (feel free to watch them yourself, but the ratio of 10 votes from non-US voters make it clear these are fake and removed by imdb from their top 250 results)
