I LOOOOOOOOOVE Guy Maddin! I have so far only seen 3 of his films (Tales…Careful…Brand…) but I can’t wait to see more. Incidentally, my friends and i have a movie night each and every Monday, and we take turns picking the flicks. Once it was my turn and I threw on “Careful”…Some of my friends liked it but a couple of them complained the whole time. “The acting was terrible,” one of them said, entirely missing the point that the silly delivery was intentional and part of the films charm. The absurd humor went right over his head. I totally dig it! Nice to see someone else is feeling on this awesome and totally unique director!
