Movie Insider's "100 Movies That Deserve More Love"

Add to my lists | Print this list

For all the attention spurted across the chests of a handful of movies each year, there are dozens more that are shunted aside, trampled underfoot or otherwise treated to the sh*tty end of the stick by the grinding gears of the movie machine. Many of these movies deserve to languish in obscurity, but there are plenty that are worth more than that and that’s why we’ve rolled up our sleeves to retrieve some unloved and under-appreciated gems from the dustbin of history. Within this countdown you’ll find hated blockbusters and underseen cult classics, you’ll find A-list megastars, and unsung C-list heroes. The Best Movies on The List — 1 year ago

3 phenomenal movies that need more love: Gattaca (go see this beautiful movie!), The Rules of Attraction, and The Iron Giant

Great movies that probably aren’t underpraised: 25th Hour, Casino, The Adventures of Indiana Jones (were they really talking about the whole series?), and Jackie Brown

Pretty good movies: Die Hard 2, Ed Wood, Living in Oblivion, and maybe Frequency (guilty pleasure for me)

Anybody think any of the other movies need more love? I’d love to find some hidden gems…

Really?

I full heartedly disagree with the previous post. I feel that most to all of these films need a hell of a lot more love.

well, i’m sorry, but most of the ones i’ve seen don’t seem to deserve too much love!
