partially set in NY? — 3 years ago

President’s Analyst is only set in NYC for about a half hour of the film (the first 20 minutes & then a chase scene in Chinatown) but it’s really a visual tour (the Whitney, the Statue of Liberty, etc.) so I felt that they spent enough time showing off NY to count for the list.

.. but you can erase if it doesn’t seem to fit the theme of beeing “about” New York. More like partially set in NYC.

I wonder if there is a way to sort a list like this by year. e.g. Wikipedia list

Does "Bumping Into Broadway" count? — 6 years ago

I don’t think the short was filmed in New York at all – probably all filmed in LA. I think there’s just an establishing shot of Times Square.

However, the story is supposed to be set in New York.

I know the title is films “about New York”.

randem- Let me know what you think – and you can delete it if you want.
