Armond White's Better-Than List (2010)
I used to run the "Armond White Approved" lists for 2009 and 2010, listing everything he gave a positive review to in that time span, but I found going through the 2010 list to be too much of a slog.
A better way to go about it, I think, is with his annual "Better-Than List" in which the critic generally praises a lesser-known or poorly received film over a popular or acclaimed one. For the sake of gaining a proper perspective on White’s opinions, I’m including both the recommended and rejected films on this list, so do visit the "list source" to know what’s what.
