Pitchfork Media's "Iceland's 20 Best Albums"

Add to my lists | Print this list

Recently, I wrote a book called Eru Ekki Allir I Studi?, about Icelandic rock music and culture in the 20th century. The idea was that it would include a list of the best Icelandic albums as well, but obviously, it’s tricky to create a truly authoritative list with no outside input. So I asked 200 (semi)-professional Icelanders to make top 10 lists. When I had the results, I put the top 100 albums in alphabetical order on the web, and allowed the public to pick their ten favorites. Nearly 4,000 people did and when I combined their lists, I got these scientific results:

 1. 1.
