Corrections — 42 weeks ago

Put the right Breathless, Brief Encounter, Magnificent Ambersons, and The Chase. Also changed “The River Wild” to The Wild River!

Fake — 42 weeks ago

Edgar Wright confirms on Twitter that this list is fake – most likely he asked Spielberg about it since they’re working together on Tintin. Still a pretty good list though.

Also — 42 weeks ago

He means the Arthur Penn/Marlon Brando movie The Chase, not Charlie Sheen’s.

Wrong versions? — 42 weeks ago

Not knowing the official source for this, I’m only guessing here, but I have a feeling that Spielberg meant the Godard “Breathless” and the Lean “Brief Encounter” rather than the two remakes included here.
