Jack Nicholson has been nominated for an Academy Award for Best Actor eight times. He won twice (a record 22 years apart) for One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest and As Good As It Gets. He was also nominated four times for a Best Supporting Actor Oscar, winning for Terms of Endearment. He is also one of only two actors (the other Michael Caine) nominated for an Academy Award for acting in every decade from the 1960s to 2000s.
