* health food restaurant order taker. The place was called "Lite Bites": you know, like, healthy food as opposed to junk. I ate frozen yogurt (it was "healthy" because it was made with honey) every day. The restaurant was located in a building called "Claydesta", owned by rich Midland bazlionaire Clayton Someoneorother. His wife was named Modesta. Hence the name, Claydesta. The interior was landscaped
with large trees.

* market researcher. I called computer companies and asked them what kind of main frame they were hooked up to. This job was in Austin, Texas near 6th street. After work I used to buy myself a ginger beer from a place called Wiggy's. Then I would go to my step aerobics class.

* gym front desk chick. I checked IDs at the University of Texas gym.

* front desk chick at a nut case shelter. A job I worked in Portland, Oregon.

* retail floor sales person at Fred Meyer. I worked at the cool one in northwest Portland, a few blocks from Powell's books. I worked there the summer OJ Simpson killed Nicole.

* I had two jobs cleaning houses in Austin, Texas. One company was called "White Glove". I apprenticed with a lady who sprayed alcohol on to faucet knobs to get them super clean.

* I've had two jobs as a barrista. The 2nd one was in the Galleria in Albuquerque, New Mexico. I was homeless at the time, but the owners, Mary and Arthur, didn't know this. I was the only person in the shelter with keys to an established business. I had a short black skirt and a pair of mary janes that I liked liked to wear. (this was in 1997) On the way I was often solicited for sex.

* resident teacher of disabled people. I worked one week on and one week off for about a year and a half with two disabled women, Barbara and Rhonda. It was probably the best job I've ever had.

* super speed scorer for Pearson Educational. I scored highschool exit exams. The building average was about 100 an hour; mine was about 300 with 75% accuracy.

* caregiver of the eldery. My last job. I just quit due to not getting enough hours. Also, I hated my boss.

* Discover, new applications. A total bullshit job which I did for 9 months because I was too lazy to look for something else.

* e-Bay. Yes, I actually got a job there. My job was in "Safe Harbor " as an account security specialist. Worked as a temp for the summer and then was offered a job in August. Quit before converting to permanent because I was bored out of my mind.

I am currently unemployed. Big suprise. Latest work is hindu astrology. Am thinking of becoming a part time consultant.
