This award, nicknamed the Eddie, has been given annually since 1962. Beginning in 2000, the award was split into Best Edited Film – Comedy or Musical and Best Edited Film – Dramatic. There was a tie in 1989 and 2007.

The Fugitive was listed as winning this award, when it was actually only nominated. I replaced it with the actual winner for 1994, Schindler’s List.

I also added the 2007 winners, years for all the winners, and the Drama category winners since 2000 (only the comedy/musical winners were listed).
