I haven’t seen many of those films but I think you should defnitely add Louis Malle’s Ascenseur pour l’échafaud (1958).

However, is something like Betty Blue really more deserving of a spot than A Nous la Liberte or Pickpocket or Shoot the Piano Player or Le Beau Serge or Mon Oncle or dozens more classics not included here?!
