For Sight and Sound’s poll. Li Cheuk-to is chairman of Hong Kong Critics Guild.

Note this is the original classic 1948 version of Spring in a Small Town (the best Chinese film i’ve seen) not the 2000 remake by Tian Zhuangzhuang.
