Every year since 1989, the Library of Congress adds 25 films of “cultural, historical or aesthetic importance” to its National Film Registry. These are the 25 films named to the Registry in 1993. (Note that several videos here contain two films apiece, only one each of which is in the Registry. The Registry films are "Cat People", "The Cheat" and "Chulas Fronteras".)
