And Rhythm on the Reservation? — 4 years ago

Another creative, toe-tappin’ Betty Boop cartoon, but nowhere near as infectious as the other two listed here. On top of that, given the hilariously offensive stereotypes throughout— “Goodbye, Mr. Redskin!”— why choose this one?

But on the whole, a great list of animated shorts— many thanks to the CFB members who put it together, and to fish_beauty for posting it here!


Why did Screwball Squirrel make the list? — 4 years ago

Screwball Squirrel seems to me an OK, but comparatively unsuccessful cartoon. It seems an attempt to imitate Bugs Bunny, but with none of the charm.

To my mind, there are hundreds of better candidates.
