Wow. The dvd cover for The Apartment. — 13 weeks ago

It’s so hideous I thought the wrong movie was listed. Had to click on it to gape in horror at the close-up.

stalemate — 17 weeks ago

You’d think this wouldn’t be that difficult to finish, I only have 2 left- but The Jazz Singer isn’t on dvd and I know no one with a VCR anymore, and Yankee Doodle Dandy doesn’t seem to exist at all outside of America. So I’ve been sitting on my 98% complete for almost a year now. Boo.

Westerns — 1 year ago

I was really into finishing this list, as there are so many classics on it I’ve always meant to watch anyway and I enjoyed working from it blah blah blah. But now I have only 12 left, and most of them are westerns. Now, I like westerns, but not that much. I’m only now noticing how many there seem to be on this list and it seems pretty disproportionate.

And I switched some other stuff, too.

I switched out the ‘79 All Quiet on the Western Front for the correct 1930s version.
