Titles Change — 5 years ago
I know some of these books by different titles. The titles of the collections of stories are particularly subject to change. For example, the most common title of “The Fantasies of Heinlin” is “The Unpleasant Profession of Jonathan Hoag.” And “The Notebooks of Lazarus Long” is in my collection as “The Past through tomorrow” and it is also labeled as Heinlein’s future history stories. “Methuselah’s Children” Is included in that volume and stands alone in a seperate volume on my shelves.
I think it is a bit odd that “Expanded Universe” isn’t in the list, as that is probably one of the most important compilation of Heinlein stories, not because the stories chosen are particularly good, but because of the vastly greater background material in it about Heinlein’s actual life. There is more in that book than you will get in any other book written by Heinlein.

This list should probably be listed as a definitive list rather than a personal one – unless it’s your own personal ranking of which Heinlein books you like over others…
