not enough people are into this band and it’s a shame. math-y time signatures, lots of distortion and solid bass lines result in a sonic mix of optomistic insanity. you will give in and shake your ass like the sucker you are.

brilliant. beautiful. strange. im no music journalist so i am not going to even attempt to describe this record. i couldn’t do it justice. every track is amazing. the production is great. just perfect. and the drums on the ‘spider bite song’ make me giddy every time i hear them.

this is a driving in your car with the windows down, music loud and a slurpee in your hand record. these are well crafted lo-fi pop songs with great hooks you want to dance to. ‘Licence to Confuse’ alone makes this record reek of hot days sipping beer at your older brother’s party. Long live the ’90’s!

a quintisential summer record. oozing with optomism and love, each song is the sound of god if god listened to good records and hailed from texas.
