"The titles are presented here in alphabetical order by author. In general, the rule was only one title per author. But we made two exceptions: for Foucault and Freud. Also some will note the inclusion of several books (I Ching, Marx, Krafft-Ebing) that were written prior to 1900. But our interest here is when they were published in English."
